M V Chauhan All India Student Paper Contest

The M V Chauhan All India Student Paper Contest under the banner of IEEE India Council provides an opportunity for IEEE student members of the nation to present their research ideas at national level. The contest is being held along the lines of the IEEE INDICON 2019, a flagship conference of IEEE India Council. This will provide an opportunity for young minds to come together and discuss the latest developments and future directions in the areas of Engineering and Technology.

Guidelines To Submit The Paper

  1. The contest is open to IEEE student members (from India) at UG and PG levels only.
  2. It is preferable to have first author as a Student in his/her graduate /undergraduate programme
  3. Papers are open from any of the UG/PG porgrammes listed below.
    1. UG- From students from programmes like B.Tech/B.E/ B.Sc/BCA etc
    2. PG-Students from programmes like M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc/ M C A etc.
  4. Original working / research paper in any topic mentioned under all tracks of INDICON 2019 is invited for this contest.
  5. The number of authors for any paper should not exceed three with at least one IEEE student member.
  6. The shortlisted papers will be called for presentation during INDICON 2019 and all presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore after fulfilling all the requirements of IEEE Xplore.
  7. Paper should be prepared according to standard IEEE double column A4 format. For details refer
  8. Length of the paper should be of 3+1 pages. The fourth page must be used for only references.
  9. (a) After submission of the paper, the author(s) of the paper should send the following declaration form to Dr. Rajashree Jain at [email protected] . “It is certified that the author.................. is an IEEE student member. The paper entitled his/her own work and eligible for the M.V. Chauhan all India student paper contest 2019”.
    (b) In case, the institution does not have an IEEE Student Branch, this declaration should be signed either by a faculty member who is an IEEE member, or by the principal/Head of the institution.
  10. Author(s) of accepted papers are required to make presention in M V Chauhan Paper contest track during INDICON2019. Registration to INDICON 2019 by the authors of accepted papers is mandatory.
  11. The best paper will receive a certificate along with a cash prize of Rs 12000 each for PG and UG category.The authors of second and third best papers will receive only certificates.
